Tom McDermott, Partner and Broker of Record, was the Broker of Record for Penn Partners Commercial Real Estate, LLC prior to merging with NAI Commercial Industrial Brokers, Inc to form the present company, NAI Commercial Partners, Inc. As a general broker, he represents Buyers and Sellers through listings, sales, site selection, and Buyer/Tenant representation. Mr. McDermott is primarily focused on sales and leasing of commercial/industrial and income producing property.

He began his real estate career in the late 1980s and was formerly a small business owner, and involved in sales in the securities and insurance industry. Mr. McDermott is dedicated to both the real estate industry and the Lancaster community through leadership and involvement in various associations and organizations.

Mr. McDermott is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College with a BA in Business Administration. He has earned the industry’s most prestigious designation, as a Certifi ed Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), as well as being a member of the Society of Industrial and Offi ce Realtors (SIOR). He is a past president and current member of the Lancaster County Association of Realtors as well as past president and member of the Commercial and Industrial Council for which he was recognized as the Commercial and Industrial Member of the Year in 2003. Mr. McDermott is also a member of the Tri-State Board of Realtors and is a current Board member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Society of Industrial and Offi ce Realtors (SIOR), and has contributed to a variety of real estate trade publications over the years.
